1.8T water pump

Have to do the water pump on the wifes Passat.

05 B5.5 Passat wagon 4 motion 1.8T
[O===\x/===O] 90 Jetta AWW 1.8T/02J swap - Way better then the old 8V auto combo.

Go metal. Did mine at 70k the car had 180k on it when I sold it and never had any issues with it.

Metal, I have seen too many vws waterpumps fail with the plastic impeller.
It's their new 2.5L diesel, direct injection, 5 cyl, 25 valve, twincharged, hybrid, 500 HP, 11ty billion torkz, 10,000 RPM, AWD, 6spd manual/ 7spd DSG, 75mpg, sedan/wagon/hatchback that goes vrooom vroooom vroooooooom

Metal one and Continental brand timing kit has been ordered. Plan is to do it this weekend. If anyone wants to come help feel free.

Mine is still going after made it 60k on first factory pump with plastic now 169k on metal impeller pump go metal
2003 MK4 GTI 1.8T K&W coilover suspension, GC Camber plates, SR R swaybar , TT brake upgrade, 3"TB exhaust, Meistro tuning, S3 strut bar, DV, VF Motor mounts and 034 pedelum race mount, TT front Brakes, H2Sport Control arms.

Yeah the timing belt and pump was done at 90K and the car only has 126K on it. I am guessing that I will be pulling a plastic one out.
