Read your first post. You should be. I would never by a salvaged bike with out knowing the condition not the frame. You can not see 1 or 5 degrees of bend. But you can feel it when riding.

Always ask your self why are they selling it an not repairing it? With any salvage title vehicle. You know the PO was paid by her/his insurance company

Ask Dan about buying a car with a bent frame.

Not sure who owns it now, but back in the day Walt was a god among motorcycle frame/forks/swingarm repairmen.

The current owner bought the bike at auction. Double loose, and it doesn't run, triple loose.

I'm all for the illusion of saving money, but I'd go without for a few extra months and buy one that wasn't wrecked. (Or at least ran)

Well I put a deposit down on it today and will pick it up on friday. I got it to run, turns out it has a bad starter solenoid. After having sat for a year it fired on the second revolution which alleviates the majority of my concerns. If for some reason there is some damage that is unseen I could part it out for what I'll have into it. Also does anyone have an in on bmw bike parts? I'm going to check the place Don kindly suggested too.
