Re: half marathon anyone?

I'm running the Shamrock'n Half Marathon on 3/13. Doubt I'll want to run another half that soon.

x2. But after everything is replaced (including heater core) the world is yours.

Re: 16v... two bad new distributors... wtf?

just need a engine support bar and timing light. sad part is no more money. Maybe I just suck, but I rather prefer doing the extra work and pulling the whole motor, than wrestling the 020 on/off with the engine support bar. I have used a jack under the oil pan and tilted the whole thing down enough...

x2, along with some chain. Didn't think to find the ugliest one, tho. I have one cut to a MKII engine bay, that you can have.

Use them what they're meant for, and relay them.

Re: RabbitHabitGlass's 1986 GTI "Kasper"

Back when I had my T-Red MKII GTI, I took out the H3 bulbs, and put in city lights for my inner's. Looked pimp.

Yes, inner's are high-beams.

PoCKeT_GoD wrote:Inners act like fog light lights . The outer rounds are dual beams already

No, they do not act like fog lights.

Re: Mk2 Heater Core Recall

Bypass the heater core hoses. That can be done with simple tools on the side of the road (yes, I've done it).

As far as the recall, no idea if it's still open.
